Sophia is the CEO and Co-founder of Water Collective -- an organization founded to resolve the shortcomings of clean water access in the developing world, where 40% of water points are broken at any given time. Sophia sold her first company in 2010 which had products placed in 250 retailers worldwide, was featured in People Magazine, and worn by celebrity clientele. She continued to manage projects over $1 million in value for Fortune 500 companies in hospitality and technology, and focused her undergraduate studies on effective market strategies to lift the resource-constrained out of poverty.
Sophia was listed as a leading force in Social Entrepreneurship on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in 2016 and awarded the Fred Alger Finance Award in 2015. She holds a BBA from Parsons School of Design Strategies and is currently pursuing her MPA in International Economic Policy at Columbia University.
